Our innovative design team took charge of creating a flexible exhibition layout that to showcase 14 selected projects across the Hong Kong. From captivating displays to interactive installations, we carefully crafted an environment that immerses visitors in the rich tapestry of the chosen theme. Our exhibition interpretations provide insightful narratives, inviting visitors to explore, learn, and engage with our curated content.
Organized by the Hong Kong Design Centre in collaboration with Story Lab and Number2, this year-long collaboration under BODW offers a remarkable platform for exchange between Hong Kong and Dutch designers. Featuring a diverse range of creative talents and disciplines, the exhibition invites visitors to explore the themes of Consumerism and Waste, Technology and Materials, and Sustainability and Inclusivity. The exhibition celebrates the innovation and vision of Hong Kong's design community, showcasing projects from esteemed participants including: B+G Design Co.; CoDesign Ltd.; Devana Ng, Invisible Company; Dr Rico Chan, Beyond Vision International (BVI) ; HKIA Biennale Foundation and its Hong Kong Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism\Architecture 2019* Chief Curator Roger Wu; Hong Kong Design Centre’s Design District Hong Kong Chief Curator & Projects Director Sam Lam; Jacqueline Chak & Henry Hui, Editecture; Kadri Keung, Boundless; Kay Chan Wan Ki; Natalie Chow & Caroline Tronel, Kibo; Penter Yip, Fashionary; Queen Man & Milky Choi, Project Futurus; The Hong Kong Research Institute of Textiles and Apparel (HKRITA); and Tony Ip Green Architects.
From the impact of commercialization and consumerism to the complexities of land scarcity and aging populations, the exhibition delves into pressing issues through seven focal points: REDUCE, REPAIR, REUSE, RECYCLE, REMAKE, REDESIGN, and REVITALISE. Our team was involved in generating the creative vision and curatorial concept, designing the exhibition layout and display for this exciting project.
